Puma for Italy



When Puma won the contract to outfit the Italian national soccer team, they wanted to share their Forza Azzuri feels with the world. Blacksmith partnered with agency SyrupNYC to generate a compelling ad that merged Italy’s fave athletes with fresh, engaging animation. The branded content played to a delighted audience of 42,000 on the JumboTron at Italy v Uruguay in 2011, and garnered over half a million views on YouTube.

In post-production Blacksmith stood for illustration, design and animation as well as the obvious post-production fixes such as rotoscoping and camera tracking.
